EXPECTING the worst, HOPING for the best. Picked up from the airport in a huge army truck covered by just a large tarp for my 24 teammates and I and our 25 hiking bags. Three hour drive back to our place we would soon call home. Spending our time singing, laughing, and enjoying the breeze that came through. After a long day of travels we arrive at our home, greeted by our hosts and their adorable PUPPIES (those of you who know me well, I surely felt at home seeing the dogs). After saying our hellos we went inside. WE ARE BLESSED by the house we have been given to stay in! i AlMoSt FeEl SpOiLeD. Waking up in my bunk bed this morning I thanked the Lord for all he has provided me with. Taking my first step out into the humid Nicaragua air I found myself staring at a beautiful volcano. I don’t understand how people can look at something so amazing and NOT believe? Then a teammate and I went on a walk up the road, where I saw cows, horses, chickens, dogs just roaming the streets. I’ve been here for less than 24 hours and have already experienced so much. I can’t even begin to imagine what the Lord has to come for my team and I!
Psalm 40:5
Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.
